Last weekend, Mom and Dad caved in and took me to see the sights at Six Flags/Marine World in Vallejo. I was very excited and upon seeing the roller coasters from the highway, I began to say over and over "I want to ride on that!" Mom and Dad told me that it would be a while before I ever got to get on one of those. After saying this, they then looked a little nervous as I assume there were thinking about which of them would be subjected to riding it with me in the future!!!!
Anyway, upon arrival, we had to park the car and no kidding, it was at least a 1/2 to a whole mile walk to the park. Now, I enjoyed every minute of this walk, but mom and dad seemed to keep asking to pick me up. I can't imagine why they didn't enjoy the HOUR walk to the park, but little Peanut (big boy) that I am, I insisted on walking the whole way. Baby J took the easy ride and let mom push him the stroller.
We had lots of fun, but I had a few episodes of overstimulation and I literally exploded into tears a few times. We visited Thomas Town where they had a real Thomas the train you could ride on as well as Harold the Helicopter ride and a Bertie the bus ride. We also enjoyed the Looney Tunes area where there were several rides for Peanut sized people. On the way out of the park, I loved watching the people come down the log flume ride and get all wet. I can't wait until I am big enough to ride on those rides.
Oh and by the way, on the way back to the car, I decided that mom (not dad) should carry me back to the car. Let's just say that mom won't have to do any work outs at the gym for the near future. Carrying a 28 pound wriggling weight approximately 1 mile is certainly a good workout. Mom says you should try it some time.
See a few pics of our adventure above and a new pic of Baby J enjoying the sights at the amusement park with mom!
