Hello Darling...Its been a long time!

What a crazy month the Fletchers have had! I have so much to tell you, but I will start with our visit to my mom's side of the family in Atlanta (yes, all four of us and yes on a plane) for an entire week . I think I got to see every single relative and friend of my mother's - let's just say our social calendar for the week was pretty full. In addition to seeing all of these crazy, nutty and loud people (I fit right in, of course), we also found time to take in the sights and visited the Georgia Aquarium and several different parks during our visit.
The week started with packing up and heading to the SFO airport. Mom said it was sort of like Noah's ark as we had two kids, two adults, two suitcases, two diaper bags, two strollers, two carseats and the list goes on and on. We made it all the way to the airport and off of the Park and fly bus and mom said "Uh, where are the car seats?" Daddy just turned a deep shade of green and said "Huh?" There was no time to go back and retrieve them from the car so we went forward on our mission - mom and dad seemed a bit concerned over my ability to stay in an airline seat without a "5-point harness restraint aka toddler proof restraint" but, big boy that I am, I stayed in my seat most of the whole flight (notice I DIDN'T say that I SAT in my seat - ha, ha) and happily watched my videos and ate my delicious boxed lunch from United Airlines. Baby J - angel baby that he is, just smiled, ate and slept. It was all a grand adventure to me.
Upon arrival in Atlanta, of course, we had to go have a Chick-Fil-A and then it was off to grandma's house. Unfortunately, our Chick Fil A cravings had to wait about an hour as that is how long it took to get the rental car seats into our "wonderful" mini-van.
As I said above, we saw everyone during our visit and it made my mom and me very happy. Grandma Anne and Grandpa Jack, Aunt Julie and Uncle Bob, cousins Christina, Sydney, Wes, Eric, Anne, George and my mom's best friends from high school and college. We also got to meet a few of mom's other friends from some of her previous workplaces. Please forgive me if I forgot anyone, but it was a lot for a little guy like me to remember all those names.
I really loved playing with my 1 year old cousin Sydney. She was just starting to walk and it was lots of fun to toddle around with her. I even shared my toys and goldfish crackers with her. She's "just a baby", you know.
During my visit, Grandpa Jack kept saying to me "Hello Darling" and that has stuck with me. I often say "Hello Darling" to my mother and other people now and it seems to bring a smile to their faces. See some pictures of me and my brother with the family above and I will post soon to tell you about my trip to the Georgia Aquarium, my fascination with spray bottles and my new pet.
